Comrades,
We had 15 members present at the February meeting. Dinner was turtle soup
from the muskrat dinner. We had the State Inspector Rick Zellman there to help
explain the ledger process and to help Earl explain the account situation.
Our Quartermaster Earl has the books all straighten out with the help of our
State Inspector Rick Zellman. He has created a ledger and itemized all the
accounts within the checking and savings and CD’s. He plans on putting the funds
back in the appropriate accounts as soon as the CD from MBT is due.
Our Muskrat dinner was successful. Jr. Vice Dick Brazeau did a very fine job with
the event and big applause to Joe Dusseau and everyone who helped get the
dinner started and cooked. There were many compliments for the cooking. Dale
Morin and Bob LaPointe made some good money running the Texas Hold-em
Tournament that night. Silent auction, gun raffle and 50/50 made quite a bit of
money, thanks to our sellers. Special thanks to Sheila and her daughter Andrea
for selling 50/50. Great big thanks to all who helped out during the event. Once
again fine job members.
The Men’s Auxiliary is hosting their Lucky 100 and will be held every Friday night

Please E-mail your address to: cmastark@netzero.net. I realize not everyone
has access to the internet, but even getting the number of letters reduced would
be a great advantage.
Let’s try to get out to visit our sick and shut in friends, they would enjoy the
company (please call first). You can E-mail our web-site and let us know who is
sick and what is ailing the member, or inform us of upcoming events.
Let’s get some new vets signed up and involved with the VFW. If you know
someone who may be interested in joining the post, call or contact me at (734)
625-6640.
I apologize for leaving the meeting in the midst. I had some immediate personal
business to take care of. Thanks to Senior Vice Dave Toepher for taking over and
closing the meeting.
See you on the 3rd.
